The ‘Wed’
I’m Sarah, I’m originally from the UK and grew up in the sleepy little seaside town of Frinton-on-Sea.
Fast forward to 2013, I met the love of my life, and together, we decided to explore the world. We landed in Australia and, well, we never left! Now, ten years later, we've settled in Gympie with our two four-legged pals and our adorable daughter, Violet.
I've always had this insatiable wanderlust; I'm the kind of person who believes a holiday should always be on the horizon. I love a good list and often drive my husband crazy with my never-ending list making and planing for our next adventure.
I’m lucky enough to have worked in the wedding biz for several years but, in a past life, the theatre was my calling. I’m a creative at heart and studied performing arts in London. I worked as an actress, director and Drama teacher and even had some amazing experiences performing in Poland, London and with some ghosts at Hampton Court Palace.
Fun fact: I’m a not-so-secret nerd! Gryffindor is my house, I strongly believe in second breakfasts and I can always be found in Valeris with a book - IYKYK
I’m married to a chef…so food and wine are a BIG part of my lifestyle. When we’re not working, we love exploring new restaurants and wineries, scouring out local produce and introducing our daughter to the wonderful world of food.
I've always adored weddings, and I was on the hunt for something that let my creativity run wild. The Celebrant gig turned out to be the perfect match, like wine and cheese (also two of my favourite things!).
If you like my vibe, get in touch, I’d love to hear all about your wedding day!
The “Fed”
Hi, I’m Alan, my passion for great food began at the young age of 16, when I moved to France to work in Michelin Star restaurants and learn the secrets of French cuisine. In the UK, I worked in multiple award-winning restaurants, training under renowned chefs like Marco Pierre White.
I moved to Australia in 2013 to work at Homage restaurant in Grandchester, where my love for Australian produce took root. Focusing on farm-to-fork dishes, the restaurant earned several accolades and its first-ever Chef Hat.
My experience in top Australian restaurants includes 2 Hat NuNu’s in Palm Cove and 1 Hat Tarrawarra in the Yarra Valley. I spent two years running The Stables at Stones in the Yarra Valley, creating seasonal degustation menus with the best regional ingredients.
Later, I worked as Sous Chef at The Long Apron restaurant on the Sunshine Coast, where I perfected the fusion of traditional French cuisine with exceptional Australian produce.
My passion for food, combined with experimental flavor profiles and artistic presentation, has been recognized with the Sunshine Coast Readers Choice award in 2021, 2022, and 2023 by the Australian Good Food Guide. I was also voted the 4th best wedding caterer on the Sunshine Coast.
In just four years, I’ve earned six awards and cooked in over 1,000 homes.
Now, I focus on bringing fine dining experiences into the comfort of your home, delivering elegant, unpretentious, and delicious dishes—all without leaving your kitchen.
